Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance and Senator representing Niger East Senatorial District, Mohammed Sani Musa (APC), has reaffirmed his commitment to the unity and electoral success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Niger State.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Sunday by the senator’s media office.
According to the statement, Senator Sani Musa joined Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, alongside other APC leaders and stakeholders, at a reconciliatory stakeholders’ meeting convened by the party’s State Working Committee on Saturday.
Addressing party members at the meeting, the senator underscored the importance of reconciliation among aspirants and candidates who participated in the recently concluded APC primary elections, describing unity as critical to the party’s success in future elections.
He called for stronger cooperation, greater integration and sustained harmony among APC leaders and members across the state, stressing that a united party would be better positioned to consolidate its electoral victories.
Senator Sani Musa also advocated the strengthening of the APC’s leadership structures at the zonal level to improve coordination and grassroots mobilization.
He further urged all APC candidates contesting elective positions to take greater responsibility for financing and driving their campaigns, noting that doing so would reduce the pressure on Governor Bago and enable him to focus on governance while supporting the party’s overall electoral strategy.
Reaffirming his loyalty to the APC, the ranking senator pledged to continue working with the party leadership and stakeholders to ensure the party’s victory and promote sustainable development across Niger East, Niger State and the country as a whole.
