A massive crowd of supporters and party loyalists on Friday stormed Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency in Kano State to affirm Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa as the candidate for a fifth term in the House of Representatives.
The affirmation rally, held on May 16, 2026, attracted key stakeholders, political leaders and residents from across the constituency, regarded as one of the most politically vibrant areas in Kano South.

The event witnessed an overwhelming turnout, with supporters openly declaring their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf ahead of future political contests.
Many attendees described the gathering as a strong display of unity, political strength and solidarity within the constituency.
Speaking during the event, Kofa, who also holds the traditional title of Jarman Bebeji, thanked constituents for their continued trust and support over the years.
He pledged to sustain effective representation and assured the people that he would continue to prioritise the development of the constituency.
The lawmaker highlighted several achievements recorded during his previous terms in office, while noting that some of his tenures were interrupted by unforeseen circumstances.
Kofa also praised the leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Yusuf, saying their administrations had ushered in a new phase of development and progress for Nigeria, particularly Kano State and the northern region.
According to him, the policies and programmes of both leaders are already producing positive results across different sectors.
He further appealed to other aspirants who contested alongside him to unite and work together for the progress of the party and the constituency.
Emphasising reconciliation and inclusiveness, Kofa said the affirmation process produced no losers, describing it instead as a collective victory for all stakeholders committed to the advancement of Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency.
