Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, has met with China’s Air Chief Marshal Xu Xueqiang on the sidelines of the 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum.
The meeting focused on boosting defence technology transfer, strengthening local military production, and building stronger defence-industrial partnerships.
Both sides also discussed training, joint projects, and sustainable cooperation in line with Nigerian laws and global standards.
The talks reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to practical and mutually beneficial defence collaborations that will enhance national security while supporting economic and technological growth.
