The arrest followed a swift response by operatives of the Bichi Police Division to credible intelligence provided by a resident on Saturday, July 12, 2026.

According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the suspect, identified as Mohammed Isah Haruna of Dan Dinshe Yamma Quarters in Dala Local Government Area, was spotted in Rimaye Village wearing what appeared to be a military uniform.
