The Kano State Police Command has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians across the state and Nigeria, while assuring residents of robust security arrangements to ensure a peaceful celebration.
In a statement issued on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, the Command emphasized its commitment to safeguarding lives and property throughout the Easter period.
According to the statement, adequate security measures have been put in place, with police personnel strategically deployed to churches, recreational centers, and other key locations across the state. The move is aimed at preventing any breach of peace and ensuring that residents celebrate the season without fear.
The Commissioner of Police has also directed all Heads of Departments, Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and other operational units to intensify surveillance and maintain a high level of alertness during the festivities.
Residents were urged to remain vigilant and security-conscious at all times. The Command encouraged members of the public to promptly report any suspicious movement or incident to the nearest police station.
