No fewer than 3,309 prospective beneficiaries from the 99 wards of Niger East Senatorial District on Monday participated in the aptitude test for the Senator Mohammed Sani Musa International Undergraduate Scholarship Programme to Morocco.
The screening exercise forms part of Senator Mohammed Sani Musa’s education intervention aimed at expanding access to international academic opportunities for young people across the district.
According to a statement issued by the Senator Sani Musa Media Office, the impressive turnout reflects the confidence and trust that youths in the district have in the scholarship initiative, as well as their commitment to pursuing education as a tool for personal and societal development.
The remarkable turnout is a strong testament to the confidence, trust and belief that the people, especially the youth, have in this life-changing educational initiative,” the statement said.
The media office noted that the large participation also underscores the determination of young people to embrace knowledge and productive engagement while rejecting social vices that undermine youth development.
It commended the Scholarship Screening Committee, chaired by Hon. Balarabe, alongside professors and other academic experts drawn from across Niger East, for conducting a transparent, credible and seamless screening process.
The statement further described the scholarship programme as a demonstration of Senator Mohammed Sani Musa’s commitment to human capital development, noting that the initiative is designed to empower the next generation through quality education and exposure to global learning opportunities.
