Tinubu Sends Goodwill Message to Emir of Gumel, Seeks Support for Renewed Hope Agenda

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent a goodwill message to the Emir of Gumel, His Royal Highness Alhaji Ahmad Muhammad Sani, reaffirming his administration’s recognition of the vital role traditional institutions play in promoting unity and peaceful coexistence across the country.

The message was delivered at the Emir’s palace by the Jigawa State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda, Alhaji Musa Sha’aibu Guri, alongside other top political figures from the state.

Addressing the Emir, Alhaji Musa Sha’aibu Guri stated that President Tinubu holds traditional rulers in high esteem for their contributions to social harmony, security, and grassroots mobilization.

He called on the Gumel Emirate to continue supporting the federal government by sensitizing citizens on the policies and programs of the present administration.

The Renewed Hope Agenda coordinator highlighted several development projects initiated by President Tinubu’s administration in Jigawa State, including major road constructions linking Gaya to Shuwarin Town, Kwanar Dumawa in Kano to Babura, Kano to Garki, and the road connecting Gumel to Hadejia. He also mentioned the ongoing railway project as part of the administration’s commitment to infrastructure development and economic growth in the region.

According to him, these projects demonstrate the president’s resolve to improve connectivity, boost trade, and enhance the quality of life for the people of Jigawa State.

In response, the Emir of Gumel, Alhaji Ahmad Muhammad Sani, speaking through his senior councilor, the Galadima of Gumel, Alhaji Usman Maje Muhammad, expressed appreciation for the president’s goodwill message and recognition of the Gumel Emirate.

The Emirate leadership offered prayers for the success of President Tinubu’s administration and commended the delegation led by Alhaji Musa Sha’aibu Guri for their visit, describing it as a sign of mutual respect and cooperation between the government and traditional institutions.
