AROGMA,ready for Dangote’s free petroleum products delivery

The Arewa Oil and Gas Marketers Association, AROGMA, has said that its members are ready to begin loading petroleum products from the Dangote Refinery to benefit from its free delivery programme.

President of AROGMA, Bashir Ahmad Danmallam disclosed this in a statement issued in Kano on Tuesday, following the association’s visit to Halima Dangote, the Executive Director (Commercial), Dangote Refinery, at her Kano residence on Sunday.

In the statement, Danmallam confirmed that AROGMA members would soon begin loading petroleum products from the refinery.

According to Danmallam, the opportunity for the free delivery would not only benefit members of the association, but also the consumers across the country.

“This is an opportunity, and we are calling on our members to take advantage of it to access the products without payment of delivery fee for now.

“This opportunity will not only benefit AROGMA members but also consumers and the entire Nigerian populace,” he said.

According to Danmallam, the visit is to commend the foresight of the President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, and his team for their sacrifice in saving the nation from impending economic disaster.

The AROGMA President noted that Dangote’s efforts to establish the refinery is commendable and patriotic as it also saved the country from energy and foreign exchange crises “by ending Nigeria’s reliance on importation of petroleum products”.

Danmalam stated that during the visit, the AROGMA leadership had deliberated extensively on how to load petroleum products for its members, disclosing that the Executive Director agreed that registration and loading of the products would be free for now.

“AROGMA presented its challenges and possible successes as preparations were made to start loading from Dangote Refinery.

” The leadership sought clarification from Hajiya Halima on the way forward and she gave us valuable advices on how to forge commercial relationships with the refinery.

” The meeting indicated that all AROGMA members will benefit from the loading of petroleum products, with registration currently free of charge,” Danmallam disclosed.
