A retired Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Usaini Gumel, has officially submitted his All Progressives Congress (APC) Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms to contest for the Gumel/Gagarawa/Maigatari/Sule Tankarkar Federal Constituency seat.
Gumel disclosed this in a statement addressed to his supporters, describing the submission of the forms as a major milestone in his political journey and a step toward serving the people of the constituency.
According to him, all necessary requirements for the contest have been fulfilled, expressing confidence as the political process moves to the next stage.
He said the ambition represents a collective mission aimed at promoting service, unity, and progress within the constituency and the APC.
The APC aspirant also appreciated the support, prayers, and encouragement he has received from party members and supporters across the constituency, noting that their solidarity continues to strengthen his determination.
“I deeply appreciate the prayers, encouragement, and unwavering support from our people. Your confidence inspires me to remain committed to the ideals of service and development,” he stated.
Gumel called on his supporters to remain peaceful, disciplined, and law-abiding throughout the political process, while also respecting the leadership and guidelines of the APC.
He further reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots development, youth empowerment, skills acquisition, community peace, and sustainable progress if elected to represent the constituency at the National Assembly.
