Senator Sani Musa, representing Niger East Senatorial District, has dismissed claims of a disagreement between him and Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, describing such reports as unfounded and misleading.

The lawmaker made this clarification on Sunday during a meeting with party leaders and stakeholders at the All Progressives Congress (APC) Niger East Zonal Office in Minna. He emphasized that his relationship with the governor remains strong, cordial, and focused on advancing the interests of the state.

Addressing party members, Musa, who is seeking a third term in the Senate, said he remains committed to the unity and progress of the APC, especially as the party prepares for its primary elections in the coming weeks.

“I do not see any problem whatsoever.

Those who speculate are entitled to their opinions, but I remain focused,” he stated. “I have God on my side, I have my President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I have my governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, and most importantly, I have the people. What God has joined together, no man can put asunder.”

The senator explained that his visit to the zonal office was part of ongoing consultations with party stakeholders across the district.

According to him, the feedback from constituents and party officials has been encouraging, reflecting confidence in his representation.

Musa also used the opportunity to reaffirm his commitment to improving education in Niger State. He urged young people to take advantage of various educational programmes and initiatives he has introduced, noting that education remains a critical pathway to a more secure and prosperous future.

Commending the leadership and organisation of the APC in the zone, Musa praised party officials for their dedication and effectiveness in mobilising support at the grassroots level. He noted that the zonal office has continued to meet expectations and contribute meaningfully to the party’s growth.

Reiterating his loyalty to the APC, the senator said the platform has provided him with the opportunity to impact lives and contribute to national development.

He further called on Nigerians to remain optimistic and supportive of the current administration, expressing confidence that the APC-led government would deliver on its promises to revitalise the economy, improve infrastructure, reduce poverty, strengthen education, and enhance security nationwide.
