Combine security operatives comprising personnel of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), the Nigerian Army (NA), the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and members of the Vigilante Group have conducted a joint operations at Bariki Fulani Settlement, Rugar Fulani, and Kwangara Village within Sundumina District of Birnin Kudu Local Government Area leading to the arrest of three suspects comprising of Adamu Abubakar ’30yrs and Sale Yakubu,30yrs,Mamman Saidu 17yrs
Where they recovered various exhibits including,One locally made gun,two red Boxer motorcycles,eight pieces of fake 50,000 Somalia shillings,five Tecno mobile handsets (including two keypad phones) ,One power bank,One knife,One machete,and a sum of Two Hundred and Eighty-Nine Thousand, Six Hundred and Twenty Naira ₦289,620.00.in a statement by the Spokesperson of the Command Shi’isu Lawan Adam.
The suspects were allegedly specialized in luring unsuspecting victims to the area under the guise of exchanging foreign currency, after which they would waylay and rob them of their valuables as investigation reveale
The Command reiterated the commitment of working synergy with security agencies in the state towards maintaining peace and security as the Commissioner Dahiru Muhammad urged members of the public to remain vigilant and continue to cooperate with security agencies by providing timely and credible information for prompt actions.
