The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kano State Sector Command, has commiserated with the Kano State Government and the State House of Assembly over the death of two members of the Assembly.
The Sector Commander, Corps Commander Idris Mohammed Lawal, in a statement on Thursday, expressed condolences to Gov. Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Jibrin Ismail Falgore, members of the Assembly and the people of the state.
This is contained in statement issued to newsmen by the Public Relations Officer of the Corps, CRC Abdullahi Labaran on Friday in Kano.
The deceased lawmakers are Hon. Aminu Sa’ad, representing Ungogo Local Government Constituency, and Hon. Sarki Aliyu Daneji, representing Kano Municipal Local Government Constituency, who died on Dec. 24, 2025.
Lawal described the late legislators as committed and dedicated public servants whose contributions to legislative development and democratic governance in Kano State would be greatly missed.
He said the corps recognised the invaluable roles played by the deceased in promoting peace, unity and the overall development of the state, noting that their demise was a great loss to their constituencies, Kano State and the nation at large.
The sector commander prayed Allah to grant the departed eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus and give their families, the state government and the House of Assembly the fortitude to bear the loss.
He reaffirmed the solidarity of the FRSC with the government and people of Kano State at this moment of grief.
