Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency and strengthening governance structures across the state.
The development was announced in a statement issued on Monday in Birnin Kebbi by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Yakubu Bala Tafida.
According to the SSG, the redeployment aligns with the Governor’s ongoing mission to reposition the state’s civil service for more effective and result-driven service delivery.
The affected members of the State Executive Council include:
Hon. Sama’ila Yakubu Augie, redeployed to the Ministry of Health.
Hon. Haliru Aliyu Wasagu, redeployed to the Ministry of Internal Security.
“I am directed to convey the approval of the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, for the redeployment of the aforementioned Honourable Commissioners. This directive takes immediate effect,” Tafida stated.
He further appreciated the continued dedication and cooperation of all cabinet members, noting that their efforts have been instrumental in the achievements recorded under the current administration.
Governor Idris, the statement added, remains firmly committed to sustaining peace, promoting unity, and deepening service delivery to improve the lives of the people of Kebbi State.
