In an effort to deterred away Kano Youths, from Social Vices, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State, has distribursed empowerment Funds of N150,000 each to 5,384 Youths.
Speaking during the empowerment programs, at the Coronation Hall of the Government House, Tuesday, Governor Yusuf, who thanks the Youth’s for their Patients after staying for over two years after elections, said that the Government have several plans for the Youth’s.
He said the contribution of the Youth’s during elections could not be overemphasized, and their calmness and believing in the Government made them to Commences in earnest the empowerment programs.
“I’m aware that in 2023 you played significant role in my elections as Governor, and you are aware that I have not forgotten you, that is why the scheme is coming not at a better time than now”.
Governor Yusuf, said that his aimed in Government is making Youths as his major priorities and making their lives great as the main mirror of the society.
“I challenges critics more specifically the opposition to gathered Youths of your caliber in Kano, I know you know they can’t because they don’t even believes in you and your progresses”.
Governor Yusuf said that before his Government the highest Money been given to the Youth’s was not more than N10,000 to N20,000 but today he is given Youths are whooping N150,000 at a go.
“I challenges those who go on saying Government is against Youths to cast their minds back and see several Vocational Skills that were created by former Governor Kwankwaso and but unfortunately discarded by Ganduje Government, but by the will of God we have revived them”.
He said he is using 345 Youths organizations to ensure that the empowerment programs continues, adding that his administration would not but relentless in ensuring the goods of the Youth’s
“We are going to continue these empowerments up till 2027 and when we comes back after elections we will continue where we stopped and I will make sure that each one of you will get Plots of Land in Kano and I’m to distribute them to you to avoid any diversions”.
