Kano Pilgrims Board Visits Emir of Karaye, Commends His Role in Successful 2026 Hajj Operations

The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Karaye, His Royal Highness Alhaji Muhammad Mahraz Karaye, to welcome him back from the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage and acknowledge his outstanding contributions to the success of this year’s Hajj operations.

Leading the delegation was the Director General of the Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, accompanied by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusuf Lawan, and members of the Board’s management team.

Speaking during the visit, Matawalle praised the Emir for his dedication and exemplary service as Deputy Amirul Hajj, describing his leadership, guidance, and commitment as instrumental to the smooth coordination and successful execution of Kano State’s 2026 Hajj exercise.

He noted that the Board deeply appreciates the Emir’s unwavering support and invaluable contributions toward ensuring the welfare of pilgrims and the efficient management of Hajj activities.

In his response, the Emir of Karaye expressed gratitude to the Director General, the Board Chairman, and the management of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board for the visit and the recognition accorded to him.

The royal father reaffirmed his commitment to supporting efforts aimed at strengthening Hajj administration and improving the welfare of pilgrims from Kano State, while commending the Board for its dedication to delivering a successful pilgrimage.

The visit ended with prayers for lasting peace, unity, and continued success in future Hajj operations.
