Senator Sani Musa, representing Niger East Senatorial District under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to grassroots development, declaring that no politician can rival his dedication to improving the lives of his constituents.
The lawmaker made this known during a recent political gathering in Niger State, where he engaged supporters and key stakeholders on his ongoing efforts to deliver meaningful dividends of democracy.
Addressing the audience, Senator Musa emphasized that his style of leadership is rooted in humility and guided by strong religious values. He noted that he deliberately avoids publicizing acts of assistance rendered to individuals and communities.
“It is not in my character to go public with whatever I do to help my people. It is against my religion to openly showcase such acts; they are between me and my God,” he said.
Despite maintaining a low public profile regarding his philanthropic activities, the senator assured constituents of his continued commitment to impactful governance. He stressed that his focus remains on initiating and executing projects that improve socio-economic conditions across the district.
“I am committed to ensuring qualitative representation at the National Assembly so my constituents can benefit from the dividends of democracy. We have done it before, and we will do it again through responsible representation,” he added.
Senator Musa highlighted several key areas of intervention, including youth empowerment through scholarships and skill acquisition programmes, as well as initiatives supporting women, education, and agriculture.
He further pledged to sustain efforts in infrastructural development and other people-oriented programmes aimed at enhancing livelihoods and promoting sustainable growth.
Observers at the event noted that his remarks signal a strategic focus on service delivery and community engagement, particularly as political activities begin to intensify ahead of future elections.
