Kano Govt Invests Over N700m to Upgrade Technical Colleges in Dambatta,Ungogo

The Kano State Government has committed over ₦700 million to the renovation of Government Technical College, Dambatta, and Government Technical College, Ungoggo, as part of efforts to improve technical education and learning standards in the state.

Commissioner for Education, Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda, disclosed this during an inspection visit to both schools, where he assessed the progress of ongoing renovation projects.

According to him, work at Government Technical College, Dambatta, has been fully completed, with all classrooms renovated, furnished, and new hostel facilities provided for students.

Dr. Makoda added that several other school rehabilitation projects across the state are at advanced stages and will soon be completed.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to creating a conducive learning environment for students, emphasizing that investment in technical education remains a key priority for the administration.
