The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, Ibrahim Bakori, on Wednesday inaugurated the newly constructed Kabo Police Division in Kabo Local Government Area.
This is contained in a statement issued by the command’s spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Kiyawa on Tuesday in Kano.
The project marks a milestone in enhancing security infrastructure and improving policing services to the area.
Kiyawa quoted Bakori as expressing gratitude to Deputy President of the Senate, Sen. Barau Jibrin, for facilitating the project, citing his commitment to safety and security of the area as the motivation.
The commissioner emphasised the importance of the Kabo Police Division in strengthening community policing, improving emergency response, and fostering trust between law enforcement and the public.
The commissioner urged residents to work with the police to ensure the division’s success in delivering security services.
While at Dawakin Tofa Police Barracks, Bakori assessed the welfare and operational readiness of officers, reassuring them of the command’s commitment to improving their living and working conditions.
“The Kano State Police Command extends its gratitude to all stakeholders for their contributions toward advancing security in the state.
“These collaborative efforts reflect a shared dedication to ensuring peace and safety for all,” he said.
