Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has extended heartfelt congratulations to Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, Commander-General of the State Hisbah Board, on the conferment of an honorary Doctor of Letters degree by Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.
This is contained in a statement issued by his spokesperson Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa in Kano on Wednesday.
The Governor praised Sheikh Daurawa’s outstanding contributions to Islamic scholarship and his efforts in promoting morality and societal values in Kano State and beyond.
He commended his dedication to eradicating immorality and fostering a more just society.
The Governor expressed delight that Sheikh Daurawa’s hard work and achievements have been acknowledged by a premier institution, bringing pride to Kano State.
He assured the state’s continued support for Sheikh Daurawa’s devotion to serving humanity and Islam.
The Governor prayed for Sheikh Daurawa’s continued guidance and blessings as he renders his services to the community with wisdom, knowledge, and compassion.
