Gov. Abba Yusuf of KanoState has sworn in two new Commissioners and Solicitor General as members of the executive council.
This is contained in a statement issued by his spokesperson Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa in Kano on Friday.
The newly sworn-in commissioners are Mr Abdulkarim Kabiru Maude, SAN, as Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, and Associate Prof. Aliyu Isah Aliyu, as Commissioner for Livestock Development.
While Salisu Muhammad Tahir was also sworn in as Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the commencement of the 32nd Kano State Executive Council meeting, held at the Governor’s Lodge in Kwankwasiyya City.
Governor Yusuf charged the new appointees to serve with dedication, integrity, and humility, stressing the importance of teamwork and synergy in achieving the government’s vision.
The governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to prioritizing infrastructure development, education, healthcare, security, empowerment, and employment, pledging to work tirelessly towards improving the lives of the citizens.
