The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced December 14, 2025, as the new deadline for all intending pilgrims to complete payments and finalize documentation for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
The Director General of the Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, disclosed this during a meeting with Local Government Hajj Officers and staff at the Board’s headquarters in Kano.
He said the decision aligns with the directives of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and is aimed at ensuring proper planning, seamless logistics, and timely arrangements for next year’s pilgrimage.
“All intending pilgrims from Kano State are advised to complete their Hajj payments and related documentation on or before December 14, 2025. No payment or registration will be accepted after the new closing date,” Danbappa stated.
He added that preparations for accommodation, transportation, and other welfare services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would commence immediately after the deadline.
Danbappa explained that the adjustment was necessary to give intending pilgrims ample time to finalize their payments while enabling the Board to effectively coordinate and implement all necessary logistics for a successful Hajj operation.
Also speaking, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusif Lawan, called on all intending pilgrims to visit their respective Local Government Hajj Centers, the Board’s headquarters, or any designated zonal office to confirm payment details, collect receipts, and complete all required forms before the stipulated deadline.
He prayed for Almighty Allah to grant all intending pilgrims the means and opportunity to fulfill their noble intention of performing the Hajj.
