The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kano State Council, has congratulated Ahmed Mu’azu on his appointment as Technical Assistant (Media) at the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
In a statement signed by the Council Chairman, Comrade Suleiman Abdullahi Dederi, the NUJ described Mu’azu’s elevation as a well-deserved recognition of his professionalism, dedication, and contributions to public communication.
The union noted that as an indigene of Kano State, Mu’azu’s appointment brings pride to the state’s journalism community and underscores the growing acknowledgment of excellence within the media sector.
Before his new role, Mu’azu served in NAHCON’s Media Department, where he was lauded for his creativity and commitment to effective information dissemination.
The NUJ expressed confidence that his experience will further strengthen NAHCON’s media relations and enhance its public engagement.
The Council also urged Mu’azu to continue upholding the core values of integrity, professionalism, and service as he assumes his new responsibilities.
