The Kano State Police Command has confirmed that the ongoing Police Constables recruitment screening exercise is progressing smoothly and transparently at the Police Officers’ Mess Bompai.
The screening, which began on March 9, 2026, has continued without disruption, maintaining high standards of professionalism, credibility, and fairness throughout the process.

During Monday’s session, the head of the police recruitment team, DCP Habibu Rabiu, addressed officers participating in the exercise. He commended them for their dedication and professional conduct, urging them to sustain their efforts to ensure the recruitment process remains fair and transparent for all applicants.
Speaking on behalf of the State Commissioner of Police, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, welcomed candidates to the venue and reassured them of the Command’s commitment to due process.
He reiterated the directive of the Nigeria Police Force leadership that the recruitment exercise is completely free of charge.

Candidates were strongly warned to be cautious of scammers and impostors who may attempt to exploit them with false promises of assistance or preferential treatment.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, also assured the public that adequate security and administrative measures have been put in place to guarantee a safe, credible, and transparent exercise.
Residents and applicants are encouraged to cooperate with officials as the screening continues as scheduled.
