Former Senate President and Chairman of the African Democratic Party (ADC), Senator David Mark, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Mr. Peter Moro, the son of the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro, who died in a fatal motor accident.
The tragic incident occurred on Saturday around the Mararaba area of Nasarawa State, near Abuja. The loss comes just a week after Senator Moro also lost his grandson to a brief illness.
In a condolence message issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Paul Mumeh, Senator Mark described the news as heartbreaking and deeply painful.
“I received the devastating news with great shock and profound sadness,” Mark said. “This tragic incident is a painful reminder of the fragility of life. My heart goes out to Senator Moro and his entire family at this difficult time.”
He noted that losing a child is one of life’s heaviest blows, expressing his solidarity with the grieving family.
“I pray that God, in His infinite mercy, grants you and your family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May Peter’s soul rest in perfect peace, and may the Almighty comfort and strengthen you during this dark hour,” Mark added.
